In the middle 1960's United Sensor was purchased and moved to Massachusetts as a division of a much larger company called United Electric. United Sensor stayed as a part of United Electric until the middle 1990's when Jack Algeo, founder of New England Small Tube, and Adam Rakiey purchased the company from United Electric.
